The Maniac Collector's Inbox Inspector Lestrade's Outbox It has been 50 years since Robert Zimmerman, aka Bob Dylan, wrote the classic song "The Times Thet Are A Changin'" and here at SherlockPeoria, the times are also changing. Grand Pooba, Brad has decided he has had enough of the weekly grind of churning out our blog. I support Brad because I respect him but this does not mean I agree. Why do I have to? It is Brad who does all of the work. I just have to write something and submit it. Come June, 2012 we will reach issue 520 - a full 10 years of weekly Sherlockiana and then, no mas, finito, the end. We were unique when we started and unlike Brad, I still feel we have some relivance, but again, it is Brad's decision. Long live Brad. I admit, I have a different slant on things. I am not stuck in the rut of having to go to an office day after day, week after week. I have controlled Alzheimer's in that I see new people and new things every week. This keeps me fresh and exciting. Maybe Peoria jades people's outlook. There is Peoria Bob who rarely, if ever leaves Peoria and his neighbor Brad who has been a digressing Sherlockian for some time now. Both are still my friend, at least until they read these comments. I guess the pundits are right about it not playing in Peoria and all that stuff. Maybe those Peorians DO know what's best in the old U.S. of A. After SherlockPeoria closes it's Internet door in June, I plan on continuing to write a weekly article. Anyone who would like to receive a copy can send me their email address and I will put you on the distribution list. I will call it "Inspector Lestrade's Outbox" and it will basically be the same kind of junk I have writing for the past 10 years. I will make available as a PDF so it can be opened easily. I hope that many readers will sign up because it has been a pleasurable burden this past decade. For a few more weeks, Happy Collecting!! Sent electronically via Mental Telepathy
