Julie McKuras and the Tale the World is Not Yet Prepared to See*

If you are a regular reader of SherlockPeoria, you will recall that I was recently in Minnesota. You will also recall that I visited Mike and Julie McKuras' home for dinner and also present were Tim Johnson, John Bergquist, Gary and Andy Thaden. What you may not know is what occurred as we were sitting around the fire pit, in their backyard where the toads were barking.

Julie was telling everyone that she did not trust clowns. Gary, who is president of the Norwegean Explorers, said something that I did not quite hear but much to my surprise, Julie turned Gary into a puff of  smoke!! I could not believe my eyes yet miraculously I caught it all on camera!! I am sending the report from somewhere in Italy, so I feel safe enough to let world see the tale that it was not prepared to see.

"Gary, Gary don't be scary; puff of smoke and don't you tarry"

Right before our eyes, Gary went up in a puff of smoke!!

As it turned out, Minnesota is a non-smoking state so Gary soon re-materialized upstairs in Julie's library. Everything was forgotten and everybody lived happily ever after.
