Living With A Criminal I have friends who are police and I hope they do not read this article. My lovely wife Joyce is a criminal. Shhhh...... I hope she doesn't expect me to sell any Sherlock Holmes books to pay her bail. She was nearly caught while committing her crime, which occurred last week in Cleveland. Her criminal activity happened during a quick visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It almost turned into the Hall of Shame for her. Ironically, I have not been traveling for work but Joyce has been on the go constantly. Maybe it due to a severe case of jet lag that caused her to follow the path of Moriarty or maybe it was a simple case of devil-be-damned. What makes the crime all the most terrible is she did it for me! At least that's her excuse, if committing a crime such as she did is excusable. The day of the deed in question all begin innocent enough on Thursday when I took her to the airport. Nothing during the short drive indicated that anything was amiss. We chatted as much as possible for 6:30 in the morning. We kissed and said our good-byes at the gate where I dropped her off. She was still a law-abiding citizen at this time. The radical change happened when she met up with her two male traveling companions. As far as I have able to discern, they had no part in the crime other than the original plans to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. My theory is she was over wrought by the videos playing in the Hall that featured old preachers warning against the evils of Rock and Roll. According to the videos, the music in question would arouse feeling and cause the unwitting to commit sins. Evidently this is exactly what happened to Joyce. After less than an hour inside the Hall, she whipped out her cell phone and snapped a picture, even though it is posted throughout the building that it is against the law to take pictures. As soon as she did it, she was nonverbally confronted by one of the Hall's security staff. He came right up to her and stood in front of her without uttering a word. His look told her 'I know what you just did and I have my eye you.' He followed her around the rest of the time she was there. So, you may be wondering, what was the picture she took; what cause a normally law abiding citizen to risk everything by taking an illegal photograph, that she says was only for her husband? Well have a look for yourself. Happy Collecting!!
