Third Issue

The Plum in the Pudding

Duration: Winter 1986 to Winter 1988, three issues, three years.
Frequency: Annual
Editor: Steven J. Cribari
Club Affiliation: The Six Napoleons of Baltimore

This journal has to be the most beautiful Sherlockian journal ever published, in terms of sheer production values. Nice layouts, glossy paper throughout, gold, read and purple ink on the cover -- no way this beauty could survive. The one issue that I own has an editorial promising a quarterly publication instead of the current triannual schedule -- something you'll notice about the last issue of most journals: Sincere promises of issues to come. With articles by Fred Levin and Phil Shreffler, at least Plum seems to have gone out at the top of its game.
