Second Issue

Shadows of the Gnomon

Duration: July 1981 to July 1983, three issues, three years.
Frequency: Annual
Editors: Elizabeth Southwood, Richard Rutter
Club Affiliation: The Knights of Gnomon

Here was a nice little local journal from California, typeset on a dot matrix printer and containing 48 pages of Sherlockian variety. Writers were identified by Canonical titles only (unless you check the back page), and wrote up scion events, pastiche, and scholarship. The second issue (the only one I have) was limited to 125 copies and hand-numbered. I'm still not sure what "Gnomon" is, or what it has to do with Holmes, and as my web connection is down at present, I suppose I'll have to wait a while longer to investigate.
