Here's a newsletter that exhibited the sheer enthusiasm of the Sherlockian collector. Sherlockian Tidbits has a very simple idea, a letter from the editor on the cover stapled in the upper left hand corner to a pile of photocopies of material involving Sherlock Holmes in print. Newspaper and magazine articles, ads, covers, cartoons, art . . . if you could xerox it and collect it, it seems to have wound up in Tidbits, a sort of scrapbook of a publication. It's lengthy run showed just how pervasive Sherlock Holmes is in our culture, and makes for a unique sort of museum of Holmes when gathered en masse.
