Here at Sherlock Peoria, meetings of the board of directors are few and far between. We almost had one this weekend, but at the last minute our Texas contingent had a change in plans, and thus the management had to move on several items in its agenda without the sage guidance of one of our founders. It also left me without much to write about this week!

Of course, that’s not to say that life at Sherlock Peoria stood still. After much negotiation, I finally persuaded the great-grandson of Sherlock Holmes to start writing for us. Of course, we had to settle for movie reviews. Movie reviews on a Sherlock Holmes sight? Well, if they’re written by his descendant, well, maybe we can get away with it.

And somehow, I don’t think that’s going to be the strangest thing you see on this site before it’s done.
